This Privacy Policy describes how Eliite Pty Ltd (“eliite”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with the eliite mobile application (the “App”) and the website at eliite.info (the “Website”) (together, the “Services”). We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
By using the Services you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1.1Account information. When you create an account we collect the identifier and email address provided by Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in (or your email address, for accounts created with one), your display name and, if you choose to provide one, a profile photo.
1.2Profile and preferences. Information you enter during onboarding, including age range, training goals, available training days, equipment, injuries and preferences. This information is stored on your device and is used to personalise your program.
1.3Training data. Records of the gym sessions and runs you complete in the App, including exercises, sets, weights, duration, distance, route and any feedback you provide about a session.
1.4Health data. If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App reads steps, sleep, resting heart rate and workouts recorded by other apps, and writes your completed sessions back to Apple Health. Health data is processed on your device only. See clause 5.
1.5Location data. If you grant location permission, the App uses your device location during a run to measure distance, pace and route. Live location is not transmitted while you run. The completed route is stored with that run.
1.6User content. Posts, photos and comments you publish to the community feed, and messages you exchange with a coach through the App.
1.7Device and technical information. A push notification token for your device if you enable notifications, and basic technical information required to operate the App such as app version and device type.
1.8Subscription information. A record of your current subscription tier, free trial and renewal status as reported by Apple. We do not collect or store payment card details.
1.9Website enquiries. If you register your interest through the Website we collect the name and email address you provide.
1.10Website purchases. If you buy a program on the Website, payment is taken by Stripe on its own checkout page. We receive your name, email address, the program you bought, the amount paid and the country Stripe records for the payment, and we keep a count of how many times your download link is used. We do not collect or store payment card details.
1.11Photos and videos. Photos you post to the community, and videos you send to your coach (including form checks), are uploaded to our servers. Coach videos are stored privately and are visible only to you and our coaching team.
1.12Strava. If you connect Strava, the access tokens Strava issues are kept on your device. Your Strava activities are read so the App can show them to you in your calendar and history; they are held on your device only, are not stored on our servers and are not shown to anyone else, including coaches. A run you record in the App is posted to Strava only when you choose Post to Strava. You can disconnect Strava at any time in Settings, which revokes the App’s access.
2.1We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, complete onboarding, log training, publish content, message a coach, enable a device permission, submit a form on the Website or buy a program on the Website (through Stripe).
2.2We collect information from Apple when you use Sign in with Apple, purchase a subscription through the App Store, or connect Apple Health, and from Google when you use Google sign-in.
3.1We use personal information to:
(a)provide, operate and maintain the Services;
(b)create and manage your account and authenticate you;
(c)personalise your training program and display your progress and history;
(d)synchronise your training history across devices;
(e)enable coaching services, including allowing your coach to view your training history and respond to your messages;
(f)display community content you publish to other members and moderate the feed;
(g)send you session reminders and coach replies if you enable notifications;
(h)unlock the features included in your subscription tier;
(i)respond to your enquiries and provide support;
(j)maintain the security and integrity of the Services; and
(k)comply with our legal obligations.
3.2We do not use personal information for advertising, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking in the App.
4.1We may disclose personal information to:
(a)our service providers who assist us in operating the Services, being Apple (sign in, payments and push notifications), Google (sign in), RevenueCat (subscription records), Supabase (database hosting and authentication), Stripe (Website payments) and Resend (order confirmation emails);
(b)our coaches and moderators, to the extent necessary to deliver coaching services and moderate the community feed;
(c)other members of the community, in respect of content you choose to publish;
(d)Strava, in respect of runs you choose to post there, under Strava’s own privacy policy;
(e)law enforcement, regulators or courts where required or authorised by law; and
(f)a purchaser or successor in the event of a sale, merger or restructure of our business.
4.2Our service providers may store information on servers located outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5.1Data obtained from Apple Health (HealthKit) is read and processed on your device only. It is not uploaded to our servers, disclosed to third parties, or used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the fitness features of the App.
5.2You can withdraw access to Apple Health at any time in the Health app on your device.
6.1Information that syncs to our servers is stored in a database hosted by Supabase and protected by per-account access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and industry-standard security practices.
6.2While we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.1We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required by law. Information stored only on your device is removed when you reset the App or delete it.
8.1You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details in clause 12.
8.2You may delete a community post you have published at any time within the App, and may reset the App from Settings to remove your local profile and history from your device.
8.3You may delete your account at any time in the App under Profile, Account, Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and the information synced to our servers, including your profile, training history, community posts and comments, coach messages and uploaded photos and videos. You may also request deletion by contacting us, and we will action it within 30 days, subject to any legal obligation to retain information. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your App Store account settings.
9.1The Services are not directed to persons under 16 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have collected information from a person under 16, please contact us and we will delete it.
10.1The Website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function, including a session cookie for authorised administrators. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
11.1We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on the Website with the date of the last update. Where a change is material we will notify you through the App before it takes effect.
12.1Questions, requests or complaints about this Privacy Policy or our handling of your personal information can be directed to charlie@vantage.fyi.
12.2We will acknowledge a complaint within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
